Located on the north side of Stanton Road (just east of Baldwin Road), Savannah Ridge Estates features 30 lots, most an acre in size or more, and is part of the acclaimed Lake Orion School District. Clearview Homes plans to offer a mix of ranch, Cape Cod and colonial floor plans, ranging in size from 2,000 sqft to over 3,600 sqft, and with prices starting in the upper $300s.
Large lots are always difficult to find when it comes to new construction – and when you can find them, the neighborhood is usually starting at a lofty price point to compensate for the density the builder is giving up. So, to be able to find a new neighborhood in Metro Detroit with 1 acre lots (or larger!) for under $400k, is pretty rare. Plus, Clearview tends to include quite a bit, so when you factor in that, plus some of the lots not having a premium attached to them, keeping your upgrades in the $15k-$20k range or less is totally reasonable. The down side is, it’s far. Or at least, it’s far if you work in Novi, or Canton, or Dearborn. However, if you work in Troy, or Auburn Hills, etc., then it’s not a bad drive at all. So you know, everything in perspective.
