Construction is finally underway on the Hyatt Place Project; a mixed-use development at the site of the former Jim Fersard car dealership on Main Street (north of 11 Mile), in Royal Oak.
The $60M project will feature 3 new buildings, including a 6-story 122 room Hyatt Hotel, an 8-story mixed-use building that will include 10,600 sqft of retail/office space + 91 residential units, and a 2-story parking structure that will accommodate space for over 300 cars between the structure and surface lots.
The buildings will occupy property from 400 through 460 N. Main Street, on the 3.5 acre site.
The developer, Trailhead RO LLC, recently told the Royal Oak DDA that the project will be complete by September. Read more about the Hyatt Place Project from The Oakland Press here.
If you’re interested in the residential component of the project, it will feature apartments for rent, not for sale. However, there are other options for new homes and condos in Royal Oak that are for sale – if you’re curious to lear more, let’s chat!
