Ok, less than a month to go (plus multiple coups and possibly a civil war), until everything goes back to normal. Hooray! To clarify, we mean post-election normal; post-COVID normal, to quote our painter, izzagonnabeawhile.

Located 4 miles south of Downtown Ann Arbor, proposed development Sutherland Square could represent the first attempt at a neo-tradional/new urban community, in the Ann Arbor area. For those not familiar with the concept, there are examples in Howell, Canton, and Auburn Hills; all of which started more than 20 years ago, and none of which are complete yet. Anyhoo, I’m sure this project will be different but probably not. The Exchange | Greektown

While many downtown projects have stalled mid-COVID, the first residential tower in Greektown ever is still on track. Developer LIFTbuild (a subsidiary of Barton Malow), says the 165 unit “The eXchange” will begin construction by the end of the year. The development is expected to include 153 rental units, 12 condos, and private office space on the first floor; completion is anticipated for early 2022… [read more]
