If F5 Management has their way, 10 townhomes will be coming to the former Saxton’s site in the Plymouth Historic District, along with a “history-sensitive” restoration of the Jewell Building. Located on the fringe of Downtown Plymouth near Maple & Deer (just south of Ann Arbor Trail), the site was formerly Saxton’s Lawn Center, which has since re-located.
Details on the townhomes are limited, but most of the neighbors seem to be on-board, so it will just take convincing the Plymouth Preservation Network, which currently appears to be the only opponent. No timetables have been offered yet, you can read more via Hometown Life here.
Lou Bitove & Jeff Bortnick, owners of The New Home Experts®, have more than 35 years combined experience in real estate, much of that with builders like Pulte & Toll Brothers. They also provide market research for area builders, developers and national firms. If you’re considering a new home, remember: the builders rep represents the builder, not you. Work with the only local agents in Metro Detroit to specialize in new homes, and save money in the process – ask us how!
