The owner of the Suburban Collection Showplace is proposing a new 50-acre mixed-use development adjacent to the convention center.
The south side of Novi City West will feature 400-residential units, and a grocery store, while the north side will include a hotel and a restaurant; a new pedestrian bridge over Grand River Avenue will connect both sides of the project.
The $270M development hinges on public financing, in the form of Transformational Brownfield Program incentives from the state.
A portion of the residential component is projected to include 100 townhomes by Pulte Homes.
NOVI CITY WEST RESIDENTIAL
As the base price of new single-family homes in Novi soars past the $1M mark, Pulte’s more “reasonably” priced townhome product has been an incredibly successful alternative in the area – particularly their 3-bedroom plans.
Details on the specifics are still to be determined, but as vacant/developable land in Novi becomes increasingly rare, it’s likely they will sell out at this community fairly quickly as well.
As more info about Novi City West becomes available, we will share it here and in the blog!
