HOW WE DO
AND OTHER THINGS THE KIDS ARE SAYING
It’s come to our attention that some of you just think we’re hilarious and adorable but don’t realize what we actually do (and by “some of you” we mostly mean our parents).
So, we decided for our next video/ad/commercial situation, we would provide an animated walk-through of our process, accompanied by a soothing professional voiceover because a number of adjectives can be used to describe our voices and we’re confident soothing isn’t one of them.
OUR NEW CONSTRUCTION COLLECTION
2371 STANFORD | BERKLEY
The roof is on and windows are in at 2371 Stanford (as well as its already-sold neighbor, 2381 Stanford).
Featuring 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms, and over 2,400 sqft, some of the highlights of this brand-new floor plan by Mark Adler Homes include an open loft space upstairs, a 2nd floor laundry, a mudroom with a bench/drop zone + USB connectivity, a spectacular front-porch that wraps around the den, and a generous deck/landscaping/irrigation package.
And of course, the superior construction, high-quality finishes, and energy-efficiency Mark is known for.
LOT #1 | WHISPERING RIDGE ESTATES
Our first home in Whispering Ridge is getting ready for interior concrete and is making excellent progress! Featuring the 4 bed/2.5 bath/2,760+ sqft Wellington plan by Strathdale Development, this home will be similar to what Strathdale has been building in Stonegate, only this will have a Gourmet Kitchen, trimmed & cased arches, and a leaded glass door on the study (with more upgrades to come).
Lot #3 in Whispering Ridge Estates is now framed, and this expanded Wellington plan will feature a 3-car garage, over 3,000 sqft, and a ton of high-end finishes. Details are still being worked out, but expect this home to be priced in the $600s.
Located near Benstein & Glengary in Commerce, Whispering Ridge Estates is located in a particular section of the township that might be the only one which doesn’t require navigating 2-lane roads while winding around every lake in Oakland County, resulting in commute times that range from 30 min to the Donner Party. Yay! Connect with us for the details!
360 CREEDMORE | COMMERCE TWP.
Featuring significant frontage along the Huron River as it flows into North Commerce Lake (and then South Commerce Lake – because geography), this amazing location offers a private beach club and access to all directions of Commerce Lake.
Under construction by Kensington Family Homes with spring occupancy anticipated (the basement is about to be dug), this new contemporary colonial floor plan features 4 bed/2.5 bath and nearly 2,500 sqft, with an attached 2-car garage. High-end finishes abound, as well as plenty of natural light and spectacular views.
And of course, desirable Walled Lake Schools.
14107 TUPPER LAKE | FENTON
We would like to welcome Bristol Homes to our family of builders!
Featuring some gorgeous spec homes in Northwest Oakland County and Southeast Genesse County, the principals at Bristol have more than four decades of residential building experience, although some of that time was spent with Lou & Jeff so we’ll probably need to deduct those years.
Pictured above is a wonderful new Cape Cod plan under construction, with a spacious 1st floor owners suite, over 2,400 sqft, and a 3-car garage. A covered front porch and soaring ceilings offer a dramatic entrance into the home, while the high-end finishes throughout will continue to impress.
This home is located near Tubble Lake/Lake Ponemah/Squa Lake with public lake access; it will be completed by the end of this year!

IN OTHER REAL ESTATE NEWS…
Rail District| Birmingham
After it was announced last month that Big Rock Chop House would be closing, literally no time was wasted working on the replacement, as new preliminary plans have already been presented to the city… because Birmingham. The former Grand Trunk Western Railroad train station will be renovated, and a new 4-story building will be built on the current site of adjacent The Reservebanquet hall. Plans are still unclear for the existing building but the new building will feature a mix of commercial and residential; the planning board recommended both the community impact study and the preliminary site plan during its meeting, moving the project forward… [read more]
389 St. Clair | Grosse Pointe
Like seemingly any development proposed in Grosse Pointe, plans for a Grosse Pointe Public School Administrative building are returning to the drawing board for revisions. Curtis Building Co. signed a PA with the school board to purchase the property at 389 St. Clair earlier this year, with plans to restore the school building and transform it into apartments, while adding 8 new townhomes along Notre Dame Ave. Naturally, some people are excited about the move to restore the building (versus tearing it down), though almost everyone is upset about the prospect of more people moving into the city… because Grosse Pointe. Our interest is in the townhomes of course, because it doesn’t appear to be determined whether they’ll be rentals as well, or for-sale units (we would obviously prefer the latter)… [read more]
