It’s come to our attention that some of you just think we’re hilarious and adorable but don’t realize what we actually do (and by “some of you” we mostly mean our parents).

So, we decided for our next video/ad/commercial situation, we would provide an animated walk-through of our process, accompanied by a soothing professional voiceover because a number of adjectives can be used to describe our voices and we’re confident soothing isn’t one of them.

IN OTHER REAL ESTATE NEWS…

Rail District| Birmingham

After it was announced last month that Big Rock Chop House would be closing, literally no time was wasted working on the replacement, as new preliminary plans have already been presented to the city… because Birmingham. The former Grand Trunk Western Railroad train station will be renovated, and a new 4-story building will be built on the current site of adjacent The Reservebanquet hall. Plans are still unclear for the existing building but the new building will feature a mix of commercial and residential; the planning board recommended both the community impact study and the preliminary site plan during its meeting, moving the project forward… [read more]

389 St. Clair | Grosse Pointe

Like seemingly any development proposed in Grosse Pointe, plans for a Grosse Pointe Public School Administrative building are returning to the drawing board for revisions. Curtis Building Co. signed a PA with the school board to purchase the property at 389 St. Clair earlier this year, with plans to restore the school building and transform it into apartments, while adding 8 new townhomes along Notre Dame Ave. Naturally, some people are excited about the move to restore the building (versus tearing it down), though almost everyone is upset about the prospect of more people moving into the city… because Grosse Pointe. Our interest is in the townhomes of course, because it doesn’t appear to be determined whether they’ll be rentals as well, or for-sale units (we would obviously prefer the latter)… [read more]
