OUR TAKE:

Trailwoods of Ann Arbor offers 2 different collections – Village and Parkside.  Village is on the smaller/cheaper side, starting around $400k.  Parkside gets a bit more extravagant, starting in the $500s but easily creeps up in the low $600s.

Overall, the Trailwoods development is a bit close to I-94 and road noise, and homes are bunched together on pretty tight homesites.  Village lots are about 6,500 square feet, or .15 of an acre.  Parkside lots are a tad larger and allow for side entry garages, but still only at about .25 of an acre.  There isn’t much character throughout (typical in many new developments these days) but there are some wooded and larger homesites being offered, especially in the Parkside collection.

If west Ann Arbor is on your radar, give Trailwoods a shot.  The homesites may be a bit small for most, but that’s becoming more and more typical these days for close-to-civilization new construction homes.  Plus, the Toll home you choose isn’t going to disappoint.  Interior layouts and exterior elevations are great, and low Scio Township taxes with Ann Arbor schools is a huge positive!
